Devon Kennard spent nine seasons in the NFL after being drafted by the New York Giants in 2014, with stops in Detroit, Arizona, and Baltimore. Even during his playing career he was building something bigger off the field, buying his first investment property his rookie year and never stopping.
Over the past decade he has built an eight-figure portfolio across real estate, private lending, and passive investments, more than 50 properties acquired and LP positions in over 50 deals. Today his focus is local. His operating business, 42 Solutions, is a licensed Arizona private lending firm that funds fix and flip, new construction, and bridge loans for investors across the state.
He is the author of two books on building wealth, including Real Estate Side Hustle from BiggerPockets Publishing, and writes The Capital Edge, a weekly newsletter on capital allocation, investing, and business from the perspective of an operator in the field. His mission is to help others build durable, generational wealth through disciplined investing.

Through the generosity of volunteers, businesses, faith communities, and local partners, SHP Phoenix builds and delivers fully furnished beds, complete with a new mattress, pillow, and bedding, to the children who need them most.
